Looking to gain some valuable work experience in a construction management role?
We're delighted to offer some short-term opportunities to join our busy team and gain valuable on-the-job knowledge.
You'll be involved in many aspects of our process, and as part of your work experience within our team, you would:
- Experience the on-site environment by shadowing one of our Site Managers. During your visit, you may get to experience:
- What ‘Perfection at Pace’ feels like.
- How challenges on site are faced and overcome.
- Health and safety & why this is so important within our industry.
- See how our projects are built and meet some of our partners.
- Witness how design translates into reality.
- Be party to site quality inspections.
You may also work with one of our Contracts or Project Managers to:
- Get an introduction to budgets and cost plans.
- Sit in on supply chain workshops and meetings.
- Join client meetings and meet the ‘buyer’.
- Experience project performance review meetings with our Contracts Director.
- Visit other projects within our business to sense the differences in complexity, size, and scale.
- Get a sense of some of the core Project Management skills which are essential in this role.
