Location: Birkenhead
Salary: £13.50 - £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temp to Perm
Join a Growing Engineering Team We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and hardworking Welder's Mate to support their busy fabrication and welding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a workshop or engineering environment who is looking to develop their skills and build a long-term career within the industry.
The Role Working alongside experienced welders and fabricators, your duties will include:
Assisting welders with preparation and assembly work
Grinding, fettling and cleaning welded components
Measuring, marking out and preparing materials
Loading and unloading materials and finished products
Operating hand and power tools safely
Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment
Supporting general fabrication and workshop activities
Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering, fabrication or welding environment
