Interaction Recruitment is currently seeking a dependable and professional HGV Class 2 Hiab Driver for a well-established distribution business based in Bury. The Role
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering construction-related products to customers across the local region while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver roofing, cladding, and associated materials to customer sites.
- Safely load, unload, and transport goods, ensuring all deliveries arrive in excellent condition.
- Operate a HIAB crane where required (full training available for suitable candidates).
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects promptly.
- Ensure all loads are correctly secured and comply with transport regulations.
- Complete delivery documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to Driver Hours, Tachograph, and Road Traffic regulations at all times.
- Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and present a positive company image.
- Assist with general depot and yard duties when required.
Candidate Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph card.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and professional approach to work.
- HIAB certification.
