Location: Letchworth, Hertfordshire
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent | Full-Time
Pay: £16.00–£18.00 per hour, depending on experience
Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30
Night Shift: Available
About the Role
Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturer based in Letchworth, is looking for experienced TIG Welders / Fabricators to join their busy workshop team.
This is a fantastic temporary-to-permanent opportunity for an experienced TIG Welder looking for long-term, stable employment with a successful manufacturing business.
You will be working in a workshop-based fabrication environment, producing high-quality precision components and fabricated products to customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out TIG welding and fabrication to a high standard.
- Work with a variety of materials and components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Prepare, fit and weld components accurately.
- Manufacture precision components to customer specifications.
- Carry out quality inspections on completed work.
- Ensure welds and finished products meet required quality standards.
- Use workshop tools and equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.
- Work as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
Requirements
- Previous TIG welding experience is essential.
- Previous fabrication or workshop experience.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good understanding of welding and fabrication techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
