Fabricator / Welder
Location: Near Royston, Hertfordshire

About the Role
I'm working on behalf of a well-established engineering client based near Royston who is looking for an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual to join a growing engineering business, working on a variety of bespoke fabrication projects within a professional workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble steel components from engineering drawings.
- Read and interpret detailed technical drawings.
- Measure, mark out, cut and prepare materials.
- Carry out MIG welding and general fabrication duties.
- Use workshop machinery, tools and equipment safely.
- Check completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.

Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Fabricator / Welder.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Experience within a fabrication, engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Strong MIG welding and metal fabrication skills.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable and hardworking approach.
- Full UK driving licence is essential due to the location.
