About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Automated Gate Engineer to join their expanding team based in Royston. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with experience in the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of automated gate systems. The successful candidate will work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, delivering a high standard of workmanship while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and repair automated gate systems.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs.
- Work on a range of gate automation equipment, including swing and sliding gate systems.
- Ensure all work complies with current health and safety regulations.
- Complete service reports and job documentation accurately.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service while on site.
- Liaise with the office team regarding job progress and any additional works required.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Automated Gate Engineer is essential.
- Good electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Experience working with gate automation systems and access control equipment.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
