Key Responsibilities

  • Manage personal tax returns— Prepare Self Assessment Tax Returns for individuals, HNWIs, landlords, and sole traders.
  • Develop your own portfolio— Grow towards managing your own client base with ongoing support.
  • Provide tailored tax advice— Support clients with buy-to-let taxation, foreign income, residency, and Capital Gains Tax.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact— Liaise with clients and HMRC, handling queries and supporting tax enquiries.
  • Ensure accurate compliance— Deliver high-quality, accurate tax compliance work.

What You'll Need

  • 9–12 months' experience within an accountancy practice
  • Good working knowledge of UK Ltd Tax, Personal Tax, and Self Assessment
  • Commercial awareness and a client-first mindset
  • Proficiency with IRIS (preferred) and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to grow
  • Preferred (not essential) ATT qualified or studying
  • Interest in progressing towards CTA
