As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing, and upgrading a range of automated gate and entry systems across customer sites throughout Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose faults on automated gates and entry systems.
- Carry out planned servicing and reactive breakdown repairs.
- Complete upgrades, replacements, and small installation works.
- Fault find and repair:
- Automated gates
- Barriers
- Intercom systems
- GSM systems
- Access control equipment
- Install replacement parts and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service while working on-site.
- Complete all work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Accurately complete service documentation where required.
- Previous experience within gate automation, automated entry systems, access control, security systems, or a similar engineering role.
- Strong fault-finding and repair skills.
- Good mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to travel to customer sites.
