MIG Welder / Fabricator – Temp to PermLocation: Sandy, BedfordshirePay: £17 per hour Hours: Monday–Thursday 7:30am–5:30pm | Friday 7:30am–12:00pmJob Type: Temp to PermWe are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder / Fabricator to join an established steel fabrication company in Sandy, Bedfordshire.
This is a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity, with the potential to secure a permanent position after a successful temporary period.
The RoleYou will be responsible for MIG welding and fabricating mild steel components and structures, working from engineering drawings and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
Duties will include: MIG welding mild steelSteel fabrication and assemblyWorking from engineering drawingsMeasuring, cutting and preparing materialsUsing hand and power toolsChecking weld quality and finished workWorking safely within a busy fabrication workshopThe PersonWe are looking for someone with: Previous MIG welding experienceSteel/mild steel fabrication experienceAbility to read engineering drawingsGood fabrication and measuring skillsGood attention to detailReliable and hardworking attitudeAbility to work independently and as part of a teamImmediate start available for the right candidate.
