Location: Sandy, Bedfordshire Pay: £17 per hour Hours: Monday–Thursday 7:30am–5:30pm | Friday 7:30am–12:00pm Job Type: Temp to Perm We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder / Fabricator to join an established steel fabrication company in Sandy, Bedfordshire. This is a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity, with the potential to secure a permanent position after a successful temporary period. The Role
You will be responsible for MIG welding and fabricating mild steel components and structures, working from engineering drawings and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard. Duties will include: MIG welding mild steel
Steel fabrication and assembly
Working from engineering drawings
Measuring, cutting and preparing materials
Using hand and power tools
Checking weld quality and finished work
Working safely within a busy fabrication workshop
The Person
We are looking for someone with: Previous MIG welding experience
Steel/mild steel fabrication experience
Ability to read engineering drawings
Good fabrication and measuring skills
Good attention to detail
Reliable and hardworking attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
