Key Responsibilities- Manage personal tax returns — Prepare Self Assessment Tax Returns for a diverse client base including individuals, HNWIs, landlords, and sole traders.
- Develop your own portfolio — Work towards taking ownership of a client portfolio with ongoing support.
- Provide tailored tax advice — Assist clients with matters such as buy-to-let taxation, foreign income, residency, and Capital Gains Tax.
- Act as a trusted point of contact — Liaise with clients and HMRC, handling queries and supporting tax enquiries.
- Ensure accurate compliance — Deliver high-quality, accurate tax compliance work as the core focus of the role.
- Minimum 2 years' experience within an accountancy practice
- Strong working knowledge of UK personal tax and Self Assessment
- Commercial awareness and a client-first mindset
- Proficiency with tax software (IRIS preferred) and Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills
- Proactive attitude and eagerness to grow
- ATT qualification or part-qualified
- Interest in progressing towards CTA
