Service Engineer
to join their growing team, specialising in automated gates and access control systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong fault-finding skills who enjoys working independently, solving technical problems, and providing a high level of customer service. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing, and upgrading a range of automated gate and entry systems across customer sites throughout Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities
Diagnose faults on automated gates and entry systems. Carry out planned servicing and reactive breakdown repairs. Complete upgrades, replacements, and small installation works. Fault find and repair:
Automated gates Barriers Intercom systems GSM systems Access control equipment
Install replacement parts and equipment. Provide excellent customer service while working on-site. Complete all work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Accurately complete service documentation where required. Candidate Requirements
Essential: Previous experience within gate automation, automated entry systems, access control, security systems, or a similar engineering role. Strong fault-finding and repair skills. Good mechanical and electrical knowledge. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated. Full UK driving licence. Ability to travel to customer sites. Competitive salary
(depending on experience). Permanent, full-time position. Monday to Friday working hours. No weekends (unless overtime is requested). No evening or bank holiday call-outs. Company van provided.
