Driver's Mates
to assist HGV drivers with deliveries to customers. THE ROLE
Working alongside the driver, you'll help ensure deliveries are completed
safely and efficiently . Your duties will include: Assisting the driver with deliveries Loading and unloading the vehicle Helping move kegs, cases and other products Traffic marshalling and guiding the vehicle when reversing or manoeuvring Acting as a banksman when required Helping the driver safely navigate customer sites Delivering orders safely and efficiently Working as part of a two-person delivery team Providing good customer service at each delivery Following all health & safety procedures Maintaining good communication and interaction with the agency Reporting any issues or concerns to the relevant contact ? WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Reliable and punctual Physically fit, as the role involves manual handling Confident assisting with vehicle manoeuvring and traffic marshalling Good awareness of health & safety Good communication skills Comfortable working outdoors and in all weather conditions A positive, can-do attitude Previous delivery, warehouse or labouring experience is beneficial but not essential Full training provided WHAT WE OFFER
