The Opportunity
I am currently working on behalf of a well-established client who is looking for an experienced Granite Worktop Fitter to join their growing team based in Harlow. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled stone fitter with experience installing granite, quartz, or other stone worktops. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality installations while maintaining excellent standards of workmanship.
The Role
As a Granite Worktop Fitter, you will be responsible for the accurate installation and fitting of bespoke stone worktops across residential and commercial properties.
- Install granite, quartz, and stone worktops to a high standard.
- Complete accurate fitting and finishing of worktops on site.
- Carry out adjustments and ensure installations meet customer expectations.
- Use specialist tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Resolve any fitting challenges professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
- Work closely with the wider team to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Previous experience as a Granite Worktop Fitter, Stone Installer, or similar role.
- Experience working with granite, quartz, marble, or other stone materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills and a professional approach.
Desirable:
- Experience within a stone fabrication, kitchen installation, or bespoke manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of stone fitting and installation processes.
- Full UK driving licence preferred due to the nature of the role.
