About the Role Our client is looking for an experienced Automated Gate Engineer to join their expanding team based in Royston.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with experience in the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of automated gate systems.
The successful candidate will work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, delivering a high standard of workmanship while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities Install, service, and repair automated gate systems.
Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs.
Work on a range of gate automation equipment, including swing and sliding gate systems.
Ensure all work complies with current health and safety regulations.
Complete service reports and job documentation accurately.
Provide professional and courteous customer service while on site.
Liaise with the office team regarding job progress and any additional works required.
Candidate Requirements Previous experience as an Automated Gate Engineer is essential.
Good electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
Experience working with gate automation systems and access control equipment.
Full UK driving licence.
Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
A proactive and reliable approach to work.
