Food Production & Warehouse Operatives – Immediate Start
Location: Meldreth, Royston
Pay: £13.27 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm
Job Type: Temporary, with potential to become permanent

About the Role
My cleint is currently recruiting for Food Production and Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and well-established food manufacturing business based in Meldreth.
These are excellent opportunities for candidates looking for ongoing temporary work with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.
Full training will be provided, so previous food production or warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
- Food Production Duties
- Picking stock from the cold store.
- Processing and handling food products.
- Cutting meat to size using a band saw following full training.
- Packing finished products.
- Palletising products ready for dispatch.
- Carrying out basic quality checks.
- Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- Keeping the production area clean and organised.
- Warehouse Duties
- Loading and unloading deliveries.
- Moving stock around the warehouse.
- Picking and preparing orders.
- Packing and palletising products.
- Preparing goods for dispatch.
- Keeping the warehouse clean and organised.
- Following health and safety procedures.
- Supporting the wider production and warehouse team as required.
FLT experience or a valid FLT licence would be an advantage, particularly for the warehouse duties, but it is not essential for all positions.
