Administration Assistant in Glasgow

ADMINISTRATOR – TRANSPORT & LOGISTICS Wishaw, just outside Glasgow | Competitive Salary | Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Interaction Recruitment is currently recruiting for a reliable and organised Administrator to join our client's busy transport and logistics operation based in Wishaw, just outside Glasgow.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administration skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting the day-to-day running of a transport depot.
Key Responsibilities Debriefing drivers on their return to the depot.
Checking, collecting and processing driver paperwork.
Managing delivery notes, PODs and other transport documentation.
Handling vehicle keys, ensuring they are correctly issued, returned and recorded.
Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records.
Liaising with drivers and the transport team to resolve paperwork or delivery queries.
Providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
What We're Looking For Previous administration experience, ideally within transport, logistics or distribution.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Confident communication skills when dealing with drivers and colleagues.
Good IT skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
A reliable, proactive approach and the ability to work well in a busy environment.
What We Offer Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
Monday to Friday working hours.
Consistent daytime hours, 8:00am–5:00pm.
