Our client is looking for an experienced Warehouse Administrator Operative to join their busy warehouse team in Bedfordshire.
This is a hands-on and varied role, combining warehouse administration, WMS operation and general warehouse duties . You will play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring orders, stock, production and despatch operations are managed accurately and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment where accuracy, organisation and communication are essential.
Key Responsibilities Release e-commerce orders for picking by the warehouse team.
Print labels for production and pallet despatch.
Organise and fulfil stock replenishments.
Liaise with hauliers regarding daily collections.
Act as a key point of contact for the warehouse team.
Communicate effectively with other departments regarding deliveries, production and operational issues.
Investigate and report stock discrepancies.
Assist with picking and packing, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Use handheld scanners for e-commerce, spares and production activities.
Operate PPT equipment where required.
Work closely with a tight-knit team of warehouse operatives and liaise with other departments across the business.
Ensure all work is carried out in line with company safety, quality and production standards.
Undertake other reasonable duties as required by your line manager or the company's directors.
Working Hours & Flexibility This role may involve working shifts to support operational requirements, including early mornings, evenings and potentially overnight shifts .
