Configuration Engineer Location: Hatfield, Hertfordshire Rate: £14.25 per hour (PAYE) Contract: 3-Month Rolling Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or other shifts available About the Role We\’re looking for a Configuration Engineer to join our growing Configuration Department. In this role, you\’ll deliver accurate and efficient IT configuration services, working on a variety of systems and projects. Full training will be provided for bespoke in-house systems. What You\’ll Do Install and configure software within existing IT infrastructures Build and configure systems following detailed scripts Perform manual data input (25–50% of the role) using spreadsheets Consolidate consignments for distribution Box/unbox IT equipment and support pallet movement Communicate progress and delays proactively Work to meet SLA targets and productivity goals What We\’re Looking For ? Strong written and verbal communication skills ? Background in IT or technical support ? Data input experience with excellent attention to detail ? Flexible and adaptable approach ?
