HGV Class 1 Driver – Ockendon
Location: Ockendon
Pay: Up to £28.42 per hour
Shift Pattern: 5 over 7 days
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year HGV Class 1 experience
We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our client's operation in Ockendon.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Class 1 drivers looking for regular work, competitive pay and a structured rota.
The Role
- Working on a 5 over 7-day rota
- Weekend work will be required as part of the rota, although you may have some full weekends off
- On some weekends, you may only be required to work one day
- Delivering to approximately 2–3 stores per shift
- All deliveries are palletised store work
- Straightforward store deliveries with a focus on safe and efficient driving
- Full training/induction provided on site
Day Rates
- 5 over 7 Days: £20.04 per hour
- 5 over 7 Saturday: £23.37 per hour
- 5 over 7 Sunday: £25.59 per hour
- Overtime: £26.05 per hour
Night Rates
- 5 over 7 Nights (Sunday–Thursday): £23.37 per hour
- 5 over 7 Friday Night: £25.59 per hour
- Overtime: £26.05 per hour
- Unsociable Hours Rate: Up to £28.42 per hour

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year's HGV Class 1 driving experience
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
- Good knowledge of UK roads
- Reliable and professional approach to work
- Excellent timekeeping and communication skills
