Job Description
7.5T Delivery Driver – 2-Man Crew Operation
Location: Hoddesdon
Start Time: 06:00 AM
Working Hours: 8-10 hours per day
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: £14.79ph
We are seeking experienced and dependable 7.5T Drivers to join our dedicated 2-man delivery teams. This is a physically demanding role involving the delivery of white goods and home furnishings directly to customers' rooms of choice. Unpacking services are offered for white goods, and a high standard of customer service is expected.
Key Responsibilities:
Begin each day at 06:00 with a route planned for approximately 8-10 hours.
Complete 15 to 20 deliveries per day, handling items up to 79kg.
Deliver items to room of choice, with unpacking offered for white goods.
Operate as part of a 2-man crew, with lifting aids provided.
Load the truck in drop order from the delivery box with your porter/mate.
Maintain a professional and polite approach with customers, including a 1-hour pre-call before each delivery.
Requirements:
Valid 7.5T driving licence with CPC and Digi Tacho.
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Professional, courteous, and customer-focused attitude.
