Our client is a highly reputable group of companies who has a huge presence across the UK for over 40 years within their market sector. Having gone from strength to strength and experiencing organic growth, they pride themselves in providing a range of services to both their private and public sector clients.
Due to further organic growth, they are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking, and experienced Head of Finance to lead their small Finance Team on a Full Time Permanent basis.
Head of Finance role:
- You will be responsible for the monthly preparation of management information.
- You will be responsible for the preparation and processing of payroll monthly.
- You will consult with various stakeholders and be part of the senior leadership team.
- Attend meetings as required as a senior member of the business.
- Support the Administration Manager with ad hoc duties and responsibilities.
- Prepare ad hoc government departmental statistic returns.
- Liaise with external accountants and auditors for annual accounts purposes.
- Aid managerial planning and commercial decision-making duties with appropriate financial information.
- Undertake training, annual evaluation and personal development.
- Ensure health and safety policy is always maintained and adhered to.
- Manage a small Finance team and support when necessary.
Head of Finance requirements:
- Previous experience as a Finance Manager or Assistant Finance Manager or any other Senior Finance related role is essential!
- You must have a degree level qualification or professional qualification within Finance or Accounts.
- Background within the construction industry is highly desirable!
- Fantastic communication skills with an eye for detail.
- Effective communication and analytical skills.
