About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Supplier Purchaser to join our team, reporting directly to the Supplier Manager. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their career within the transport industry, with opportunities to gain experience in negotiation, supplier management, and compliance monitoring. You will play a key part in managing and developing our network of external transport providers, ensuring we have the right carriers in place to support the evolving needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Supplier Development: Work closely with the Supplier Manager (SM) and OMTS team to identify opportunities for new supplier partnerships. Support the extension and development of existing supplier relationships in line with strategic business requirements.
- Supplier Setup & Monitoring: Carry out supplier selection and approval processes in accordance with company procedures.
