Fibreglass Laminator / Trainee Fibreglass LaminatorLocation: Barnsley, South YorkshireJob Type: Full-Time, PermanentSalary: Competitive, dependent on experienceJoin Our Growing Family BusinessWe are a well-established, family-run manufacturing company based in Barnsley, and due to continued growth we are looking to expand our busy production team with the addition of a Fibreglass Laminator .This opportunity is open to both experienced laminators and motivated individuals looking to start a career in fibreglass manufacturing. Experienced candidates will have a background of working with resins and fibreglass however if you have experience working with power tools, grinders, sanders, and other hand tools , we would be keen to hear from you as full training can be provided for the right candidate.
The RoleWorking within our production team, you will be involved in the manufacture and finishing of high-quality fibreglass products ranging in size from 6 cubic metres to 100+ cubic metres. Duties may include: Fibreglass laminating and mould preparationTrimming, grinding, and sanding finished productsUsing hand and power tools safely and effectivelyQuality checking finished componentsMaintaining a clean and safe working environmentWorking as part of a busy and supportive production teamWhat We're Looking ForEssential: Good practical skills and a hands-on approachExperience using power tools, grinders, sanders, or similar equipmentStrong attention to detailGood work ethic and reliabilityAbility to work effectively as part of a teamDesirable: Previous fibreglass laminating experienceGeneral Labouring including trimming/lifting/splicingMould preparationRelease of simple mouldsUse of hand toolsUse of hand-held power tools such as grinders and sandersBond preparationWhat We OfferFull training for candidates new to fibreglass laminatingA stable, permanent position within a successful family-run businessFriendly and supportive working environmentOpportunities to develop new skills and progress within the companyCompetitive pay based on experienceApply TodayIf you're an experienced Fibreglass Laminator or someone with a strong background in using power tools who is looking to learn a new trade, we'd love to hear from you.
