Job Role: Mobile Plant Engineer Fitter Ensure you read the information regarding this opportunity thoroughly before making an application. Locations: Hull, Leeds, York, Newcastle, Middlesborough, Durham, Warrington, Sheffield, Preston, Manchester, Bradford Salary: £28,000-£32,000 base salary (OTE £40,000-£50,000) Hours: Monday-Friday + Company Vehicle/Fuel Card + Overtime @ 1.5x Job Type: Full time, Permanent The Client: Interaction have partnered with a well-established and National plant hire firm to support the growth of their team. Our client, who have been established for over 50 years, have reached a stage of growth where they are looking to onboard & train engineers from either a plant, HGV, Automotive or Agricultural background to the team. They offer a comprehensive training scheme alongside relative internal progression routes. The package: · 22 days Annual Leave + Public Holidays / Increasing by 1 day for every year of service (25 overall) · All overtime over 8 hours per day is paid at time and a half · A minimum of 5 hours of overtime available per week (average availability is 15-20 hours) Min (5 hours): Additional £5,460pa / Average (17 hours) : Additional £18,564pa · Salary Sacrifice Scheme for an addition 5 days annual leave per annum · Laptop, Company Vehicle & Fuel Card · Full training & development with a focus on internal progression, route is as follows: (Workshop/Mobile Engineer > Lead Engineer > Hiring Manager > Site Manager > Regional Manager) · All of the above promotions accompany substantial increases in salary and benefits. The Requirements: · Previous experience working in the Plant, Automotive, HGV or Agricultural industry (essential) · Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential) · Experience working on engines would be advantageous · Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience · A desire to lead, manage and grow a team of your own · Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous) · Full UK Drivers License Responsibilities: · Travel to client sites to perform maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment. · Diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. · Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide expert recommendations. · Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance · Keep detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work completed for accurate reporting For more information please call me on JBRP1_UKTJ
