Temp to Perm, £15p/hr+ DOE, 39hrs per week LEEDS

I am looking for an experienced Electrical Assemblers/Fitters to work a mixed Assembly and Site Fitting role, for a company based in Leeds. The successful candidate must possess applicable Electrical Qualifications and have Site Fitting experience.

Other skills required are:

  • Read and interpret electrical wiring and schematic diagrams
  • Mechanical Assembly experience would be beneficial
  • Panel wiring and panel installations
  • Experience in site duct work would be advantageous
  • CSCS Card holder if possible
  • Knowledge of Manual Handling Techniques will be vital as the role will include heavy lifting

The Assembly work will be working on the electrical side of the units, while the site-based work will involve travelling to different sites, fitting the various units.

Day to day duties will include:

  • Electrical Assembly
  • Panel Wiring
  • Electrical installations of electrical components and sub-assemblies
  • Site Fitting
  • Duct Fitting and/or Mechanical Assembly
  • Ad hoc duties where required
  • General cleaning and tidying of the workspace area and sites

You will be required to work a core of 39hrs per week, 7am to 5.15pm from Mon to Thurs. Flexibility will be key.
