CNC Miller Permanent Role, £16p / hr to £17p / hr DOE, 40hrs per week, Mon-Fri, 25 days holiday LEEDS

Are you an experienced CNC Miller and Programmer with sub-contract Machining experience, looking for a new role? If so, I am looking for you. My client is a busy Precision Engineering company based in Leeds.

Key requirements for the role include:

  • Must be able to Program, Set, Edit and Operate HAAS, Fanuc, Siemens or Prototrak experience is essential
  • Experience of Machining up to 4-axis
  • Good experience of Sub-Contract work
  • Knowledge of machining Stainless and Mild Steel, Aluminium, Brass, Copper, Bronze & Plastic
  • Machining bespoke small to medium batch size components (2's to 100's)
  • CNC Turning experience would be beneficial
  • Working to tight tolerances

Day to day duties of this role include:

  • Programming, setting and operating CNC's to produce accurate, quality components
  • Effective and efficient use of all materials and tooling
  • Managing your work schedule
  • Self inspecting all manufactured components
  • Adhering to all Quality and H&S Standards

You will be contracted to 40hrs per week working Monday to Thursday from 7am to 4.30pm with an early finish on a Friday. The starting Pay Rate for the role is experience dependant ranging between £16p / hr up to £17p / hr. Overtime is available during busy periods throughout the week.
