Are you an experienced Service Coordinator with a background in looking after field engineers and coordinating both planned and reactive work? We are looking for someone who is confident managing engineer schedules, prioritising urgent jobs and keeping customers updated in a busy, fast-paced service environment. This is a key role within a 24/7 service-based business, where responsiveness, organisation and customer service are essential.

You will coordinate three key areas: Pre-Planned Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Repairs and Installations.

The Role

  • Coordinate and schedule planned maintenance, reactive repairs and installations
  • Manage engineer diaries, workloads and availability
  • Be the first point of contact for clients, providing a professional and proactive service
  • Respond quickly to urgent and reactive requirements
  • Constantly reschedule resources as priorities change
  • Coordinate site surveys, quotations and installations
  • Liaise with purchasing, sales, suppliers and subcontractors
  • Manage jobs from initial enquiry through to completion
  • Ensure deadlines, customer expectations and commercial requirements are met
  • Support the smooth and efficient delivery of projects

We're looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience coordinating field engineers
  • Experience managing both planned and reactive work
  • Strong organisational and scheduling skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • A commercially aware approach, with an understanding of budgets and profitability
  • The ability to remain calm and organised when priorities change
  • Experience in a service, engineering, maintenance or facilities environment
