Job Opportunity: Works Manager (Fabrication and Manufacturing)

Position: Full-time

Overview: Take charge of the daily operations of our production function, ensuring strict adherence to production systems and procedures, with the support of Charge Hands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Lead the Production team, providing direct support and expertise to on-site personnel.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure our Quality Requirements are robust, effective, and integrated into our processes.
  • Safety: Promote personal and team safety, ensuring all work is conducted safely and all near misses are reported. Adhere to and promote all Company Health and Safety policies, including the use of PPE.
  • Communication: Provide clear guidance and instructions to your team, holding regular updates to address issues professionally and promptly.
  • Team Briefings: Conduct team briefings and toolbox talks to keep the team informed about company updates and new procedures.
  • Meetings: Attend Contract Review Meetings as required.
  • Liaison: Coordinate with external inspectors and notified bodies as needed.
  • Document Management: Oversee the creation, compilation, and delivery of Document Pack/Life Time Records in compliance with customer requirements.

Knowledge and Skills:

Engineering Background: Qualified in mechanical, electrical, or structural engineering.
