Skilled Operator/Craft Technician Perm role, £52,756pa, Continental Shift Pattern, On-site Parking, Life Assurance, Healthcare Membership, Cycle to Work Scheme ELLESMERE PORT I am looking for a Skilled Operator/Craft Technician, ideally with an Electrical bias, to work on the Production team of one of my Manufacturing clients based in Ellesmere Port. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for Operating and Maintaining the Production equipment on site. Day to day tasks will include: -Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, attends breakdowns and repairs equipment and systems. -Perform scheduled maintenance and operations checks of systems and associated equipment. -Perform scheduled lubrication on pumps, motors, gearboxes, drives, chain and sprocket assemblies, valves, and belt and screw conveyors. -Repacking of pump seals, and installation of seals and bearings. -Inspection and removal of warn pump seals and bearings. -Shut down, isolate and prepare process units or production equipment for maintenance. -Perform general clean-up of tools, equipment, and work areas. -Ensure that all maintenance logs are maintained, and shift logs specify any current activity. -Install pumps, motors, gearboxes, drives, chain and sprocket assemblies, bearings, and pipelines. -Ensures that all asset…
