Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer Perm, £35k to £42k pa DOE, 40hrs per week, Mon to Fri, BARNSLEY I am looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer, to work for one my clients, an Innovative and Exciting Engineering company based in Barnsley. Your role, as the Mechanical Design Engineer will involve handling the companies Design and Development of both new and existing products and projects. You will have to be hands on in your approach, liaising and working alongside the Manufacturing team in the workshop and assisting in other areas of the business where required. Day to day tasks will include: -Producing concept design ideas -Producing detailed technical drawings and 3D CAD models -Analysing customer requirements to create accurate parts and component lists -Review drawings and prepare drawing documentation -Reverse Engineering of certain products where required -Communicate with team members from various departments including Production and Sheet Metal -Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures To be successful, you must have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, HNC or be Apprentice Trained with proven experience within the industry.
