Principal Purpose

Working on behalf of a valued client, we are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Logistics Co-ordinator to oversee supply chain operations and ensure the timely and efficient delivery of products. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating transportation, maintaining accurate inventory records, liaising with suppliers and carriers, and supporting continuous improvement across logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments
  • Schedule deliveries and monitor transportation timelines to ensure on-time performance
  • Liaise effectively with suppliers, freight companies, and warehouse teams
  • Track orders and proactively resolve shipping or delivery issues
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and logistics documentation
  • Prepare shipping documents, invoices, and relevant customs paperwork
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within logistics operations
  • Book in deliveries via phone and email
  • Act as the first point of contact for drivers arriving on site
  • Verify delivery documentation
  • Direct drivers to the appropriate loading/unloading bays
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues to ensure smooth operational flow

Experience & Skills Required

  • Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse coordination
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills

  • Familiarity with ERP or logistics management systems
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
