This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, close-knit team in a varied role combining warehouse duties with local deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist with unloading deliveries and checking for damages
· Handle heavy furniture and appliances – manual handling required
· Prepare furniture (e.g., drilling for hinges) – accuracy and attention to detail essential
· Book stock in and out using internal systems
· Deliver items to clients homes – must be comfortable with stairs where applicable
· Ensure professional, polite, and respectful conduct during all client visits
Requirements:
· Physically fit and able to handle heavy goods
· Over 25 years of age (for insurance purposes)
· Full UK driving licence with confidence driving a 3.5-tonne van
· Strong attention to detail, especially when preparing and assembling furniture
· Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
