These roles will be temporary-permanent for the right candidate. Our client has a brand-new facility and any new team member that joins has excellent possibilities for their future growth and progression opportunities.

They are looking for some Trainee Machine Operators to join the business at this very exciting time. You will be trained to use a variety of Metal and Wood Production machinery such as edge banders, drills, crosscut saws, beam saws and brake press. Previous experience operating industrial machinery is essential.

Some previous experience can include the following:

  • Working within a production environment
  • Machine operating experience required, checking quality and production progression
  • Replenishing stock in the correct warehouse locations
  • Quality checking outgoing stock
  • Wood/Metal machinist/manufacturing background

Attributes we are looking for in a machine operator:

  • Manufacturing background and understanding of manufacturing process
  • Experience of operating wood and/or metal machinery
  • Good timekeeping and attendance record
