Interaction Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation. We are seeking a Technologist to meet customer needs, testing products to ensure compliance with legislation, provision of information and presenting at seminars whilst promoting the organisation's brand.

About The Role

  • Discussing results and new work with customers
  • Drafting reports and responding to customer emails
  • Meeting with customers and presenting seminars/webinars
  • Working to and understanding Quality System and Health & Safety requirements
  • Supporting technicians' development
  • Delivering SAFT training programme
  • Contributing to writing of technical articles for internal and external publication
  • Involvement in customer visits and promotion of services

About You

Essential

  • Familiar with physical testing techniques
  • Demonstrated organisation and planning skills
  • Customer facing experience
  • Confident presenter
  • Excellent time management and scheduling skills
  • Good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work on own and as part of a team
  • Highly motivated
  • Problem solving and logical thinking
  • Willingness to travel

Desirable

  • Completion of SAFT course or working towards completion
  • Degree in Maths or Science
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Experience of direct sales and marketing with exposure to business development tools and techniques
  • Footwear industry experience
