About the Client: Interaction Technical has partnered with a well-established national plant hire firm to support their team expansion. Our client is looking to onboard an engineer from plant, HGV, or agricultural backgrounds. They offer a comprehensive training scheme with the opportunity to go into a field role in the future.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair plant machinery and equipment in the workshop
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert recommendations
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Offer training and support to clients' staff on machinery operation and maintenance best practices
- Keep detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work completed for accurate reporting
- Communicate effectively with the in-house engineering team to provide feedback and improve product performance
- 80/20 workshop based role, so sometimes it will be required of you to attend the clients site and carry out any necessary repairs or services, once competent
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the plant, HGV, or agricultural industry (essential)
- Experience with hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems (essential)
- Experience working on engines (advantageous)
- Electrical and/or mechanical fault finding, repair, and service experience
- A desire to lead, manage, and grow a team
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering) (advantageous)
- Full UK Driver's License
