Job Description Job Role: Field Service Engineer (Forklifts) \n Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire \n Salary: £36,000 – £41,000 base (OTE £45,000+) – Door to Door Paid \n Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 + \n Job Type: Full Time, Permanent \n \n The Client: \n Interaction Technical has partnered with a well-established and growing material handling company. Operating nationwide, our client provides handling and access solutions to a wide range of businesses across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team. \n \n The Package: \n \n 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (33 days total) \n Door to door pay (all travel time paid) \n Overtime \n Company van and fuel card (private use included within reason) \n All travel time and expenses covered \n Ongoing training and development (electrical, mechanical and diagnostics) \n Long-term progression opportunities (including leadership roles) \n Strong earning potential (OTE £45,000+) \n \n \n The Duties: \n \n Diagnose faults, service and repair forklift and plant equipment \n Carry out breakdown response and preventative maintenance \n Perform mechanical and electrical fault finding \n Work on engines, batteries, hydraulics and pneumatics \n Travel to customer sites and perform on-site repairs \n Build strong working relationships with customers \n Complete job sheets and service documentation accurately \n \n \n The Requirements: \n \n Previous experience within the plant or forklift industry (essential) \n Strong hydraulic, electrical and mechanical knowledge (essential) \n Experience working on engines and battery-powered equipment \n Fault finding, service and repair experience \n NVQ or City & Guilds in engineering (advantageous) \n Full UK driving licence \n \n \n About Interaction Recruitment: \n Interaction Recruitment has specialist consultants across a wide range of industries, including Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial, Finance & IT, and Hospitality.
