Base Salary: £33,000–£35,000 with realistic total earnings of £55,000–£75,000 through overtime and door-to-door pay
- Overtime Rates:
- Weekdays (after 8.5 hrs): 1.5x
- Saturdays: 1.5x
- Sundays: 2x
- Company Van & Fuel Card: Fully equipped for business use
- Paid Overnight Stays:
- UK: £25/night
- Overseas/Rig Work: £65–£70/night (accommodation covered)
- 33 Days Holiday: Including bank holidays, increasing after 1 year
- Full Training Provided:
- Career Progression: International Travel Opportunities: Optional work across Africa, Europe, the Americas, Asia, Australasia, the Middle East, and offshore rigs
- Overseas Travel Bonus: 0.5 days holiday in lieu for every night spent overseas
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults, including VFCs and PLCs
- Supporting installation, inspection, and commissioning of equipment
- Collaborating with service, installation, commissioning, and support teams
- Adhering to company and client safety policies and procedures
- Participating in emergency out-of-hours support and being flexible with travel and working hours
- Assisting with other field or workshop tasks as required
Requirements:
- Mechanical or electrical engineering background with strong fault-finding skills
- NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, traction, or lift engineering
- Previous experience as a Field Engineer or similar role
- Full UK driving licence and valid passport
