Base Salary: £33,000–£35,000 with realistic total earnings of £55,000–£75,000 through overtime and door-to-door pay

  • Overtime Rates:
    • Weekdays (after 8.5 hrs): 1.5x
    • Saturdays: 1.5x
    • Sundays: 2x
  • Company Van & Fuel Card: Fully equipped for business use
  • Paid Overnight Stays:
    • UK: £25/night
    • Overseas/Rig Work: £65–£70/night (accommodation covered)
  • 33 Days Holiday: Including bank holidays, increasing after 1 year
  • Full Training Provided:
  • Career Progression: International Travel Opportunities: Optional work across Africa, Europe, the Americas, Asia, Australasia, the Middle East, and offshore rigs
  • Overseas Travel Bonus: 0.5 days holiday in lieu for every night spent overseas

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults, including VFCs and PLCs
  • Supporting installation, inspection, and commissioning of equipment
  • Collaborating with service, installation, commissioning, and support teams
  • Adhering to company and client safety policies and procedures
  • Participating in emergency out-of-hours support and being flexible with travel and working hours
  • Assisting with other field or workshop tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Mechanical or electrical engineering background with strong fault-finding skills
  • NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, traction, or lift engineering
  • Previous experience as a Field Engineer or similar role
  • Full UK driving licence and valid passport
