The business is primarily looking for a permanent member of the team, offering an opportunity to establish yourself within the operation. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Prepare, cook and present consistently high-quality pub food. Lead, motivate and support kitchen staff, creating a positive working environment. Organise preparation and service to meet varying customer demand. Maintain high standards of food quality, portion control and presentation. Manage stock control, ordering, deliveries and food waste. Monitor food costs and support kitchen profitability. Ensure full compliance with food hygiene, allergen management and health and safety regulations. Maintain excellent standards of kitchen cleanliness and organisation. Support kitchen staff development and training. Work closely with the pub management team to develop an efficient and successful kitchen operation.
