The Role
- Act as a key point of contact for international customers, ensuring export orders are processed accurately, customers remain informed, and internal departments work together to deliver a seamless service.
- Process export orders accurately and efficiently from receipt through to dispatch.
- Track orders and proactively resolve any issues or delays.
- Liaise with warehouse and logistics teams regarding stock availability and shipment schedules.
- Maintain accurate customer and order records.
- Manage customer enquiries via telephone and email.
- Provide updates on order status, delivery schedules, and product availability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international customers.
- Coordinate returns, exchanges, and issue resolution.
- Prepare export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations and documentation requirements.
- Compile reports relating to order volumes, customer activity, and operational performance.
- Work closely with customer service, logistics, finance, and marketing teams to support customer requirements.
About You
- Previous experience within export administration, customer service, sales support, logistics, or account coordination.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM or order management systems.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities within a busy environment.
- A proactive and customer-focused approach.
- Experience preparing export documentation would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of international shipping, customs, or export procedures would be beneficial but is not essential.
