My client based in Huntingdon are currently recruiting for a Level 3 Practitioner who is willing to join a dynamic, proactive, professional and forward-thinking team. IMMEDIATE START REQUIRED / TEMPORARY / CONTRACT BASIS 2-3 months required with a possibility of permanent. Hourly rate - £14 - £14.50 per hour. Hours – 27 – 45 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Help to create a warm, caring and unique environment for the children, families and team of the Nursery.
  • Support and promote equality and diversity throughout all areas of care and practice.
  • Have a child-led approach, ensuring that observations and planning meet the needs of each individual child.
  • Help ensure the well-being, health and safety of all children at all times, including various dietary requirements.
  • Support and nurture your relationships with all children, families, colleagues and external professionals with whom you have contact.
  • Take on the responsibility of being 'key person' to build close, warm and professional relationships with your own group of key children and their families.
  • Support and monitor the development of these within the EYFS through using online learning journals, trackers and progress reports.
  • Maintain accurate and effective records.
  • Attend paid staff meetings and training sessions, including any mandatory training for continuous professional development.
