About the role: We are currently looking for a Production Operative - Manufacturing to join our client in St Ives. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high standards of quality, and contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery and equipment to produce goods in accordance with production schedules.
- Monitor and maintain production lines, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
- Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet the required specifications.
- Assist with the assembly, packaging, and labelling of products.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Support team members in meeting production targets and deadlines.
- Report any defects or issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred but not essential).
- Technical understanding would be an advantage.
