About the role:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Transport Operations Manager to lead and oversee our day-to-day transport operation.
Working as part of the site leadership team, the Shift Operations Manager acts as the operational lead across assigned shifts, linking the Site Operations Leader with front-line leadership teams and operational functions. The role works closely with warehouse, transport and support functions to coordinate operational activities, maintain legal compliance and support the delivery of customer and business objectives across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Takes responsibility for leading a safe, legally compliant and customer-focused operation during assigned shifts, ensuring operational standards are maintained at all times.
- Acts as the nominated Operator Licence holder for the site, maintaining compliance with transport legislation and company policies.
- Ensures colleagues, equipment and operational assets are deployed effectively to maximise productivity and support operational performance.
