My client based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire is currently recruiting for a H&S and Compliance Officer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. Looking for a highly motivated and experienced Health, Safety and Compliance Officer who is passionate to grow with a business and who is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
MUST LIVE WITHIN COMMUTABLE DISTANCE OF ST IVES CAMBRIDGESHIRE. THIS IS AN OFFICE BASED POSITION FULL TIME. Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm. Salary - £28-40,000 DOE
The key responsibilities will be:
- Motivate staff to adhere to health and safety practices
- Performance monitoring and compliance
- Collating statistical information for health and safety management
- Evidence compliance within auditing
- Undertake inspections on site and working at heights
- Present information in forms, tables and spreadsheets
- Development of a robust management system and assisting the directors in finding the right strategy for H&S moving forward and supporting the Senior Staff to lead the H&S initiatives.
