We are recruiting for an experienced Goods In Coordinator to oversee & coordinate the Goods Inwards department. This role is responsible for managing incoming stock, supporting warehouse operations, and leading a small team to ensure goods are received, processed, and stored accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and unload incoming deliveries
  • Check goods against delivery notes and purchase orders
  • Inspect items for damage and report discrepancies
  • Book stock into the system using warehouse software
  • Label, store, and organise inventory correctly
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant goods-in area
  • Communicate with suppliers and internal teams regarding issues
  • Assist with stock counts and general warehouse duties
  • Fleet and yard coordination where required
  • Support and lead a small team within the Goods In function

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience within a Goods In / warehouse environment
  • Current FLT licence (essential) – in-house licences considered
  • Experience supervising or leading a small team (highly desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident communicator with a proactive approach

Pay & Benefits

  • Experienced candidates with leadership experience: £***** per hour, increasing to £***** per hour after probation
  • Candidates without leadership experience: £***** per hour, increasing to £***** per hour after probation
  • Opportunity to progress to £***** per hour after completing a leadership course (typically within 12 months, depending on development)
  • FLT Key User Allowance: Up to £1,000 per annum, paid in two instalments (March & September)
