We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Temporary Ad Hoc Catering Assistant to support the catering team at a school in Soham. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, friendly environment and is flexible with ad hoc work.
Key Responsibilities:- Assisting with food preparation and service
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Supporting the catering team during busy periods
- Washing up and general kitchen duties
- Ensuring food safety and health & safety procedures are followed at all times
- Enhanced DBS disclosure check (essential)
- Previous catering or kitchen experience desirable, but not essential
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Good understanding of food hygiene practices
