Interaction Health and Social Care are looking for a Deputy Children's Home Manager in Northampton. An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Residential Care homes, and we are looking for a Deputy Manager who is passionate about achieving the best outcomes for our young people. No two days are ever the same; sometimes they may be challenging, but they will always be positive and rewarding. THIS ROLE WILL INCLUDE DOING SLEEP IN SHIFTS.
What you will need to succeed:
- As a Deputy Manager, you will report to the Registered Manager and support with all aspects of the day-to-day operations, including managing budgets to ensure the business remains viable by meeting and exceeding key performance indicators for people, quality and performance.
- You will lead, motivate and manage staff and home resources to ensure high standards of service are achieved within the home, exceeding regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare
- Diploma Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care Children and Young People, or equivalent, or commitment to work towards.
- At least 2 years supervisory experience within a children's home
- Previous experience as a Deputy Manager is desirable.
- Good knowledge of Ofsted
- Good knowledge of safeguarding and legislation
- Strong, energetic leader
- Computer literate
- Organised and able to multitask.
