Customer Service Specialist – Account Operations
Location: Cambridge area
£28,000 per annum
Full-time, Permanent | Early finish every Friday
We're recruiting for a Customer Service Specialist to join a busy team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong customer service, administration and Excel skills who enjoys working with customers and internal teams to manage orders from start to finish.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end customer order process
- Respond to customer queries and provide regular updates
- Process PO changes, returns, repairs and rework orders
- Liaise with Production and Purchasing to resolve shortages and delivery issues
- Maintain accurate customer and order information across SAP/CRM systems
- Prepare quotations and work with customer BOMs and drawings
- Support sales forecasts, job costing, stock takes and audits
What we're looking for:
- Previous customer service, customer support or sales experience
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills – essential
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proactive, self-motivated xgikmsk and confident solving problems
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Manufacturing experience desirable
- SAP knowledge desirable
- Ability to understand technical drawings desirable
