Children's Support Worker
Location: Preston
Payrate: £13.50 ++
Working Hours: Part Time/ Full Time.
We work with a large company who support vulnerable children, providing emotional and physical support. We are looking for dedicated support workers, who are happy to get stuck in to provide the best possible care for all of our service users.
This role will require you to be flexible and committed. You will need to be confident with following individuals' care plans and supporting with behaviours that challenge.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of six months UK care experience (Experience including supporting children)
- Following safeguarding procedures
- Supporting with behaviour that challenges
- Going into the community
- Providing physical and emotional support
- Genuine caring nature
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to use your initiative and problem solve
- Enhanced child and adult DBS
- Driving licence preferred
- Good level of written and spoken English
