We are seeking a reliable and professional HGV Driver to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with all road transport regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate HGV vehicles in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Complete deliveries and collections efficiently and on schedule.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
  • Ensure loads are secured correctly and transported safely.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
  • Adhere to Drivers' Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive requirements.
  • Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.

Requirements

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (Category C) licence.
  • Valid Driver CPC qualification.
  • Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Good knowledge of UK road transport regulations.

  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Previous HGV driving experience preferred but not essential.
